It is incredible that a country that has all the natural resources that Mexico does can be in the predicament that it is in. Most countries start somewhere on progress to become something better. Well let's see why the world has passed on this country.
The country started as we know it with the Spanish coming to take its gold, silver and all of its dignity of its people along with that. Those conqistadores had one thing in mind: to get rich and go back home to Spain. The Spanish, with the help of the Catholic Church, dominated the people with no question. The Catholic Church wanted the souls of the indigenous people of the land to become Christians, to follow the word of God. As you go about this country you can see the church in its full power; the impressive buildings of the church are evident in all major towns and cities. As a rule, the church is the land mark to tell you where you are and from there it is the place to be on the Christian Hoidays, a people highly converted and followers of Rome. |

This morning started like any other school day. It is a Monday; of course my two children fighting tooth and nail not to get up and go to school, but this time for me as a parent things are different. The news talks of this new "Swine Flu" from Mexico that can kill you. Many students that go to my son's school in the South Bay of San Diego come across the border from Tijuana each Sunday night or Monday morning with whoever works in the states and go back each day or at the end of the week. I sat in class after it started to see if anything would be different. |

On the fog shrouded blood soaked battle fields, and the barren hot deserts, the snows of the mountains, our forefathers gave their lives so that we can enjoy the G-D given Human Rights, they are clearly individual freedoms. These are now being stripped away day by day, month by month, year upon year, and yet there is no sound of alarm, are we going to go the way of Rome, the buffalo, the Indian or the Dodo Bird? Not with a bang but a whimper, please says it isn’t so, are we just going to lie down and die? |

For many years now quite a few people including major news outlets have relied on certain web sites --‘fact check’, ‘media matters’, ‘snopes’ -- just to name a few, they used to verify information they used in their articles, instead of the reliable old fashioned way of investigation. Why? Either, due to the cost factor or just plain laziness; maybe that laziness is why fast food is so popular; ‘we’ want it now without too much effort. First you walked in to get your food, then came the drive thru, and now there is even drive thru churches. Well the left wing radicals have counted on that pervasive state of mind. And they have assumed the cloak of the great wizard, behind the curtain with all the answers, how did they accomplish it? Because for years they have given correct answers to mundane questions like who is buried in grants tomb, an extreme example, but I think you get the drift here. |

April 15, 2009 a repeat of 1773? One was a birth and one possibly a death knell. In 1773 the colonists had enough of England raising the taxes on their tea, so a group of them headed up by Samuel Adams and Paul Revere disguised as Native Americans boarded ships in Boston harbor and threw the tea overboard. That was the beginning of a new nation. That first event took place at night with a few people; the event on April 15, 2009, took place in daytime and over one million Americans were involved nationwide. I was one of them.

The good news came on Easter Sunday. All Americans said a prayer of thanks when three eagle-eyed Navy Seals freed American Captain Richard Phillips from Somali pirates with just three shots.
By simply doing their job, honorably and effectively, these remarkable men set the right standard for a civilized world. And give credit to President Obama for authorizing the use of force to protect the captain.
But are you ready for the bad news? Here it is: The Seals’ show of strength and leadership was a singular event in a dangerous world.
