An article from NaturalNews cites a possible swine flu cover-up in Florida: A case of swine flu was diagnosed today in at Florida Hospital and disclosed in an email authored by its chief medical officer, but the infection was immediately denied by Florida Hospital and Orange County health officials, who claimed in a press conference, "There have been no confirmed cases of swine flu by the CDC in Central Florida." The obvious motive for a cover-up, according to the article, is to protect tourism, which forms a vital part of Florida's economy. This is just more of the same garbage from people that are supposed to protect us. What do you think? I don’t think it is right...

This looks really bad for the whole bailout scheme. CNBC's Larry Kudlow writes: "Is the whole TARP plan a criminal enterprise? Sounds farfetched, I suppose. But after reading about Special Inspector General Neil Barofsky’s report, it may well be that TARP is just one big criminal problem... TARP, which is now linked to substantial criminal activity, has ballooned to the size of a second federal budget and represents the biggest government-directed intrusion into the economy in history - vastly bigger than the New Deal." The Hill also mentions that Barofsky is pursuing 20 civil and criminal investigations into potential TARP fraud.

Remember when this economic crisis hit, and Congress let Bear Stearns go under, pushed a bunch of forced marriages between banks, etc.? Then they bailed out AIG. At the time, I thought: "That's strange. What does an insurance company have to do with this crisis?" I think I just found the answer. Among other things, AIG INSURES THE PENSION TRUST OF THE UNITED STATES CONGRESS!! No wonder they got bailed out right away!

"To hell with the people, let's protect our future," said all our Senators and Congressmen.

Nice to see where their loyalties lie!

What do you think? E-mail me if you have an opinion!

From the "She said WHAT?????" department... Napolitano's statement on illegal immigration has already made its rounds in the blogosphere, but we just can't pass it up. Jena McNeill from the Heritage Foundation summed it up nicely:

On Sunday, April 19, 2009, Secretary Napolitano went on CNN’s "State of the Union" and proclaimed that crossing the border illegally is not a crime. This statement left a lot of folks scratching their heads given that U.S. law—the law Napolitano is sworn to uphold—says quite the opposite. Section 8, Title 1325 of the U.S. code clearly states that those who enter the U.S. illegally are committing a crime.

You'd think the "illegal" part of the term "illegal immigration" would be enough to tip you off...
