In Mexico and most other countries of Central and South America only Spanish is spoken and therefore the road of information to English speaking people and expatriates from other countries is very slow. We believe that we can reach many of those people with the information they need from our civic and political leaders. This information could be used in time of emergency to alert those people as to what to do and where to go. Current events that affect them from national leaders are coming to them also by our live radio shows “America Betrayed with John Clark.†John Clark has traveled the countries of Central and South America; he has first hand knowledge of conditions there. Professional experts and Political leaders will provide a wealth of information on current events so the radio audience can call in or e-mail the host to ask questions and comment. The “Binational Border Solutions Task Force†website (www.bbstf.org) has been actively engaged for almost two years. This website has received more than 50,000 hits in one month, coming from many different countries. People from around the world are interested in the outcome from the United States border problems. This website is currently being updated. In closing, we feel that the freedom of speech, free assembly, and the free press are basic freedoms for everyone. We hope to influence our governments to take action to solve the problems and to work together to create a more harmonious existence for us all. It is important that the road of information to expatriates be opened. The political situation in the south, at best, is unstable at times. We hope that the people of each country can feel their governments can provide them with the opportunity and security to be able to provide for their families and be happy. |
